Login Security
Your account security is a shared responsibility. Here's how hype96 keeps your login protected from external threats at all times.
All data transmitted during the login process — including your username and password — is fully encrypted using the latest SSL/TLS protocols. This means your login credentials cannot be intercepted or read, even by parties monitoring your network traffic.
By enabling 2FA in your account settings, every login attempt will require an OTP verification code sent to your registered Malaysian phone number. Even if someone else knows your password, they still cannot access your account without that OTP.
The hype96 system monitors all login attempts in real time. If a login from a new device or unrecognised location is detected, you will receive an immediate notification and may be asked to verify your identity through an additional step to confirm it's really you.
After several consecutive failed login attempts, your account will be temporarily locked automatically as a safeguard against brute-force attacks. You will receive instructions via email or SMS to safely unlock your account.
View a complete history of all login sessions on your account — including date, time, device, and IP location. If you spot any session you don't recognise, you can terminate all active sessions instantly with a single click and change your password immediately.
For added security, your hype96 login session will automatically time out after a set period of inactivity. This protects your account if you forget to log out — especially when using a shared device or public Wi-Fi network.
