Bet Types
Roulette offers a wide range of betting options — from straightforward bets with strong odds to high-risk wagers with generous payouts.
The simplest bet around — pick red or black and you're nearly at 50/50 odds.
1:1 PayoutChoose whether the outcome will be odd or even. The same odds as Red/Black.
1:1 PayoutBet on whether the ball lands on a low number (1–18) or a high number (19–36). Even odds either way.
1:1 PayoutPick one of three dozens — 1–12, 13–24, or 25–36. A 1-in-3 chance of winning, with higher payouts.
2:1 PayoutBet on one of the three columns on the table — each containing 12 different numbers.
2:1 PayoutPlace your chip at the intersection of four adjacent numbers on the table. Higher risk, but with better payouts.
8:1 PayoutBet on two adjacent numbers at once. Great for players with a strong feel for a particular section of the wheel.

Roulette Variants
Understand the differences between each variant so you can choose the one that best suits your playing style.
A wheel with 37 slots (numbers 1–36 + a single zero). The most popular variant among Malaysian players thanks to its highest RTP. Recommended for players of all levels.
A wheel with 38 slots (numbers 1–36 plus zero 0 and double zero 00). The house edge is higher due to the two zero slots. Best suited for players looking for a greater challenge.
Based on European Roulette but with random lightning multipliers (50x–500x) applied to selected numbers each round. Straight Up payouts for regular numbers are lower (29:1), but numbers that land a multiplier can pay up to 500:1.
Identical to European Roulette in rules and RTP, but with round intervals cut down to just 25 seconds. Perfect for players who want fast-paced action without the wait.
Multi-angle cameras with slow-motion replays as the ball lands. The most cinematic experience in online roulette — as if you're sitting right at a real casino table.
Tips for New Players
If it's your first time trying roulette, don't worry — the game is actually very easy to pick up. All you do is place your chips on the section of the table you think will win, then the dealer spins the wheel and releases the ball. Wherever the ball lands, that's your result.
Our recommendation for new players: start with outside bets like Red/Black or Odd/Even. The win probability is close to 50%, which is great for getting used to the pace of the game. After a few rounds, you can move on to more specific bets like Dozens or Columns for higher payouts.
One more important tip — set a budget you're comfortable with before you start playing, and stick to it. hype96 provides a personal betting limit feature that you can configure yourself through your account settings, as a tool for responsible play.
Basic Strategy
This is not a guarantee of winnings — no strategy can beat the mathematics of roulette. But the right strategy can help you manage your bankroll more wisely.
Double your bet after every loss on outside bets (Red/Black). The core idea is that when you eventually win, it covers all previous losses plus a small profit. Risk: requires a sizeable bankroll and is subject to table limits. Best suited for short-session players.
Increase your bet following the Fibonacci sequence (1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13...) after each loss, and step back two positions after a win. More conservative than Martingale and requires a smaller bankroll to get started.
Increase your bet by one unit after a loss and decrease it by one unit after a win. Safer and easier to follow — ideal for longer sessions and players who prefer a gradual approach.
Bet the same amount every round, regardless of wins or losses. The simplest and safest strategy for managing your budget — highly recommended for players who prioritise entertainment over high-risk play.
Important Reminder: Every roulette spin is independent and random. No strategy can guarantee a win. Only play with money you can afford to lose, and always set your own personal limits.
Quality Games
Some say roulette is purely a game of chance — and technically, they're not wrong. But there's an art to managing your bets, choosing the right wager types to match your risk tolerance, and knowing when to walk away. That's what sets an experienced player apart from a casual one.
At hype96, we give you all the tools you need to play smart — recent spin statistics, personal limit settings, and a full game history you can review anytime. We also offer a demo mode for new players who want to try things out before wagering real money.
